Hi I have had my bristlenose for about 9 months and the last few days has been hiding away loads in his root, which is really unusual.

I also have a female bristlenose and for a while I thought I had to take her out as they had a bit of a fight but then it call calmed down and they got on again. I read somewhere the male protects the eggs and wondering whether there are some in the root he wont come out of. Is this possible?

The male does get pretty protective and does disappear till they hatch so it is possible. No way of seeing in where he is?

Well you can just about see him but a bit too dark to make anything else out. Guess ill just wait and see what happens :good:

Just another quick one, will all my other fish eat the fry (if it is that of course)
