Blue wrapping paper for an aquriam background I tried it didnt turn out too bad what do you guys think?

what exactly is the question...you could use a vacuum cleaner for the background if you really wanted to...lol whatever floats your boat

I usually paint the back, and depending on the situation, the sides of my tanks with blackboard paint, (on the outside). Usually 2-3 coats.

I don't use back grounds, don't really see the point tbh.

Well unless you have it behind a dark wall (and even then) tanks always look better with backgrounds, as it accentuates the colours of the fish.

Oh yes exactly ! ;) almost most important. Who wants to see all the ugly wires....?

My tank looks so much better with a background...and the wall behind my tank was dark. The black background really brings out the colors in my fish.

Abstract and Bloozoo2: You guys with the cat avatars! I thought bloozoo was talking to herself!

-_- I use to Scrounge the Wrapping Paper Section of Stores all the time, Looking for CHEAP Backgrounds for my tanks.
And while I will say most look very nice, DEPENDING on your taste.

I found out One very important thing the Hard Way.
If they should get Wet and are fitted tight to the back of Your Tank and then DRYS :grr:
You'll be Scraping the BACK of your tank for alot longer then You Want.
Once the Surface of the Paper Sticks to your GLASS your sunk.

I had this happen to me once when I had a Hang on Filter Leak on me, After I got it fixed, the Paper was Soaked, Me being LAZY waited till the Next Tank Cleaning, Big Mistake :*)

Thats WHY I use the Plastic Ones you can get at your Local PS, they maybe a little more Costly, But in the Long Run it'll Save you alot of Heartache. Not to mention an aching Back from bending over your tank the better part of Several Hours.
