Just got back from my holiday in cornwall and was wondering if anyone has ever been to the blue reef aquarium in newquay?
It's mainly saltwater based but it had some really nice freshwater tanks as well.
They had one of the biggest cichlid tanks I have ever seen! They had angels, Festivums, acaras, Oscars, about 20 red hump earth eaters, hundreds of convicts, turtles and a pair of caiman crocodiles (probably to control the convict population)
They also had a beautiful south east Asian tank with a pair of giant gourami, a pearl Arowana and shoals of tinfoil barbs, bala sharks and clown loaches.
I'll see if I can post some pictures soon but I'd definitely recommend the place to anyone from the UK on this forum
