Blue Rams

Hi all, I have just bought a "pair" of blue rams from the LFS, well I asked for a pair and assumed that i would get a male and female, however they look identical.
Is there an easy way to sex these fish as i belive i may have 2 females. They have taken up residence at the rear of the tank (260l) next to the filter and are defending it, they are also very tolerant of each other which i'm guessing is a good sign.

Males are generally larger than females and have a long pointed dorsal fin.
Females tend to be plumper and stockier, they also have a pink tinge on their belly.
