any comments please
ta ,jamie. :D

Sounds like they could be. When mine had fry, they started digging "craters" in the sand substrate to lay the eggs in. Any sign of that sort of behaviour yet?

yeah they seem to be hanging by the og wood a lot and moving the gravel from around it.i also have a pair of nigerian red kribs, there semms to be some conflict going on now as they are both courting.
maybe i need to move one of the happy couples to another tank? :/

If they are hanging around in one place arranging and cleaning, they are getting ready to spawn, when they both clean together you can expect eggs, the females egg tube (ovipositor) usually shows a day or two before they actually spawn.

Yeah the kribs would probably be the strongest if there weren’t enough room for a territory each, depends on the size of the tank and where they choose to spawn. Kribs, at least the ones I kept could terrorise a four foot tank when breeding.
