Blue Rams Please Help

hi all just looking at my two rams and they are doing some funny stuff like going side by side (top and tail) and it looks like they are hitting each other with the tails lol, with there dorsal fin up and doing some crazy stuff.

i have read the other posted about sexing them but cant seen to get it right i will put pics out as soon as a get a digi cam
other tank mates are listed below
water states are spot on and ph is about 6.8
there are lots of hiding places and has lots of live plants tank is about 20 gal

why are they doing this

easy way of sexing blue rams assuming they are mature is the female will have a more pinkish belly , and will have black on her pelvic fins where as the male wont .also with females you can see the blue patterning in her black spot on her flank.. and with the male you cant .
