This is normal. I agree with the other posts, having other fish, especially tetras swimming about will make them feel more comfortable. Pencilfish are another option. Interesting little fish that go well with rams. I also agree with keeping the lights off for a bit, that will help them feel more comfortable too. Having hiding spots is important for these fish, at first they will stay hidden but after a while they will feel a bit more adventurous knowing that they have a safe place to retreat to. Rams will tend to spend most of their time near the bottom. They probably won't eat well for a couple days, try frozen brine shrimp, they'll have a hard time passing that up! Just give them some time to get used to their surroundings. Good luck!
