Blue Poop?!?!

Um.. my balloon molly is pooping a hell of alot of BLUE poop! I feed them TetraColor tropical flakes and freeze dried brine shrimp. The tetra color flakes are suppost to enhance the color of the fish, not the poop. lol O__O" is it okay for my fish to be pooping blue poop? Does her being pregnant have to do with anything???

I get all sorts of different coloured poop, I think it depends on what food you feed them.

LOL that's funny. You should go back to the LFS and tell them the colour food is making your fish poo blue. Even that sounds funny, fish poo blue. try saying it 5 times quickly.

It's probably not a good thing that they are making blue poo but if the food has a dye in it that might be the cause.

Being pregnant won't cause it.

Tetra colour wont effect the 'poop', dosed any meds recently? They often effect that.

Not really, all i put in the water is water conditioner when I do my daily 45% water change

Usually things like white spot treatment etc can change the colour, ive used that food myself for a long time without such results and know many other people also use it.
