i found that the best way to tell when ur female is about to give birth is when she will refuse to eat. this means that the hormone that makes them have no appetite kicked in so she doesn't eat her young. so this is when i put them in the breeder net (because it's bigger than the plastic one) and she usually has her fry soon after that. now sometimes it will look like they eat, but they spit it back out. so look carefully
