Blue Platy Having Fry Now...

I noticed my blue platy racing up and down the tank she done this before her drop last month,so about 30 mins ago i put her in the breeding trap,i knew she was due last month she had them on the 23/8.

Anyway she has just drop 2 so far,so that was good timing

May have been too late,she's dropped 3 i reckon she had most of them in the tank unless she's taking her time....

My last fry drop by my big molly took over a day to finish. I spotted 3 or 4 one evening, the next day when I got home from work there were about 20 and when I got up for work the following day I saw about 35 which is still how many there are. It seems like it took at least 36 hours for the whole process to finish this time. She will often drop all fry in 8 hours but for some reason this one was just much longer. From your first post to the next has not been very long so I would try being patient for a while longer.

I'd agree with oldman

In my experience plattys can drop over the course of a few days!!
