they are blue lights which are supposedly for night time

thanks im not sure if its like just an hour or 2 when the normal lights go off

assuming you have clever enough timers you could set it so that you get something like the following...

This is based on my tank with 2 day bulbs

1) pink bulb on at 8am
2) white bulb on at 10am
3) white bulb off at 7.30pm
4) pink bulb off at 8.30pm
5) moons on at 8.30pm
6) moons off at 8am
7) goto 1

thats feasable i suppose, depends if thats what you want.

pink bulb? no i dont have a clear timer i have a stupid 1 i have to bribe it to work

yer, my Rio has a Pink Bulb and a white bulb, pink really brings the colours on the fish out

kl whats the name of the pink blub, i love to get 1, 1 other question since u seem to know alot how many white bulbs on a single tank as i just brought a new 1 thinking my old 1 was broken it turns out my starter just broke instead could i get 2 new starters and have 2 white bulbs on it

The pink bulb is an Arcadia Tropical Pink...cant read the rest as its worn off the bulb lol, Generally you have one white and one coloured for plant growth/fish colour. This is very dependant on the tank size though, some of the larger tanks come with 4 bulbs so you would get 2 white and 2 coloured...etc

You could get 2 white bulbs, most people just change the half the white toa coloured one.
