How large is your tank, and what are the other occupants?
If I'm thinking of the right loach, they do best in a small group, and naturally, your tank will have to accomodate that. They're pretty large too, 9" or so?
no it would not be possible to have A blue loach.
they are gregarious and need to be in groups of at least 3. Yasuhikotakia modesta are one of the more aggressive Botiinae species
and are not really suitable for the std type 'community' set up.
having said that my group of 9 are great to watch (IMHO better than clowns)
and they did for a time live quite happily with a RTBS and a Rainbow shark
until I moved them as I had too many bottom dwellers in one tank.
Right, Just double checked the size they grow upto and i won't have room, i have a 3ft tank, with 2 Guppies (plus 1 fry), Red Tailed Shark, 5 Neon Tetra, and a Plec.
