can i put my gourami in my pond? i have three of them, two males and one female. the female is taking too much hassle from the guys so would i be okay to put two of the three outside? it's very warm here and the water is too. they goldies(3) and the gourami have all lived together for over a year and get along well.

the pond is 90 gallons

Are the goldies also outside? I'd say that's ok but only if the goldfish aren't likely to chase them. I'm not sure how goldfish react to tropicals in general as I have never kept them together (you shouldn't realy - 80 deg F is high for goldfish). Put one male and one female out and keep the other male in. In future, don't keep 2 male three-spot gouramies together unless you have a realy big, heavily planted tank with at least 2 females to each male.

Just wondering, is there no other way of solving your problem? Why don't you return 2 of your three-spots?

sconrad are those live plants in your ram tank? :kewlpics: :D

Might work but I'm not sure if it would work with the goldfish since they tend to produce a lot of waste.
