Blue Gourami

hello,

I gues this whole time nothing has been wrong with my blue gourami. Its just every time i walk into the room he gets scared for some reason. Before i went to bed one night i stared at my tank and stood perfectly still. Then i saw him come out and swim as though he didnt even know i was in there but when i scratched my back he noticed me and hurried to the back of the aquarium again.

Thanks for all the help trying to figure out what was wrong.

Do you have much planting in your tank? I find all my fish as well as my gourami are happier in a tank that's reasonably well planted. They feel more secure

I have to agree mine is ina well planted tank and he swims about a lot. You might want to add some more plants
