Hi, im looking to get about 4 Blue Dolphins for my tank, ive got a white spot catfish, a tiger plec, a couple of eastern rams, a couple of corys and a couple of clams and a couple of kuhli loaches (always forget about them because I never see them).

My tank is about 5' and holds 450 litres, I emailed the seller (tropicalfish4u) and they told me that these will be fine together. I know they can get a bit big but I think my tank is big enough for them and I would like these to be like my focal point of the tank. I have made some caves with slate either side of the tank (which the catfish and tiger pleco reside in one set) and ive got other things surrounded by plants to act as somewere for them to hide or whatever they do. I know that they prefer a higher PH and mine is about 7.8 at the moment but Ive only had the tank a week so I presume it could still change as it still could be settling down.

I will possibly get a few more fish aswell like a couple of plecos, some rainbow fish and maybee something you could recommend me :good:

Im going to get some blood worms, cichlid mix, brine shrimp and some tetramin pro flake (not going to feed it all at the same time)

Does this all sound fine, could somebody give me a few tips on what im doing and what I may need to do.

The tank size is fine - no problem there. However Cyrtocara Moorii reach 9" and are Carnivores so i wouldn't give your Rams and Corys much chance when they reach adulthood - adult dolphins are not likely to eat other fish as they normally feed on crustaceans but they are large aggressive fish and would probably prove too stressfull for the Rams and Corys.

The other tankmates should be fine.

Your Ph is OK- 7.8 is high enough and i wouldn't try to raise it because of the other fish in there.
