I came in contact with the most beautiful tetra today at the LFS. They said that the Tetra was a Blue-Black tetra and it was not a dyed Whiteskirt Tetra. My WhiteSkirts don't look like the blue-black varity I seen. The anal fin is a far bit different then the Whiteskirts.
Though I am somewhat baffeled why they are called Blue-Black tetras because they don't seem to have any black on them but they have some pink on their heads? I gave them a good look over and they don't appear to have any ulcers or seem to have any site on their body where ink was injected or anything?
Can you confirm that these are not dyed? There seems to be no information on this fish online and I can not figure out why since they are beautiful!!!
