I have 2 blue acaras, they are in a 10 gallon by themselves. I've noticed that the male has started the courting, pulling on plants, vibrating ect. I've also noticed that they've began to dig through the rocks? Now neither of them are eating?? WHY?? All the food that I've given them is all on the rock, plants ect. Is this a part of their breeding habits?? Should I siphon the food out or are they saving for their spawn?? Someone please help!!!

You should clear out the uneaten food as soon as possible. It's not part of normal breeding behaviour; either the fish are sick and don't want to eat, or you're feeding too much.

How long has your tank been set up? Have you tested the water at all, and if so can you post the numbers?

I feel I ought to warn you that a 10 gallon is not going to be big enough for a pair of acara in the long term; you should look at upgrading to something much bigger.
