Bloody Looking Oto

I have an oto I got almost two weeks ago has like a bloody mouth. I noticed it after he got done sucking on my clown pleco. Could he have been attacked by him or could he be a defective oto? http/www.flickr.com/photos/67537901@N02/6778965640/

I have no idea what happened. :'( All I know is he was perfectly normal when I got him from petsmart then he came home sucking on Fred's fin which I know could scratch his attackers

it'd be good to take it back anyway if it's sucking on other fish. I can't really say what may be wrong with it, though.

Its stopped sucking on them after I gave them broccoli
