OK - it's time to experiment with some live foods. I've got dead, dried bloodworm already but that hardly counts.
What I want to know is, what does frozen bloodworm look like?? How much should I feed?? How do I prepare it??

Thanks ---

Frozen bloodwrm usually comes in frozen cubes in a blister pack, the amount to feed depends on the number of fish you're feeding and to prepare it simply scoop out a bit of tank water into a small bowl and leave it ti defrost then pour it back in.

Mentioned frozen bloodworm to the missus... she didnt seem too chuffed with the idea of them in the freezer... anyone have the same problem? Should i put them in a bag and mark them up as peas (she doesnt like them either, so wont look! )

Squid.

hi
the blister packs you get of bloodworm arent messy when theyre frozen, i put my packs in a plastic bag & then store in the freezer & just defrost one little cube at a time. i chop the bloodworm up so our smaller fish (rummy nose tetras, cardinals) can manage them easily
all our fish LOVE the fresh/frozen bloodworm.

For the most part, the blister packs are small unless you buy in bulk, so you could hide them in the back of the freezer without them being too noticeable. If worse comes to worse, you could just buy a really tiny minifreezer ^^

I had a tough time convincing mine :hyper:. I now wrap the bloodworms in 2 layers of packing before storing them in the freezer :)
