So, as the idiot I am, I accidentally got blood in my betta's 5 gallon while feeding him.

Here's the story, if you're interested in the details. I finger feed my betta, after letting his pellets soak for a bit, i carefully place the pellet in the water so it doesn't ink to the bottom, but anyways, as I pulled my finger out of the water I realized there was a little blood running off my finger, I don't know how or why my finger was bleeding, but I instantly panicked, ran to wash my finger with a ton of soap, slipped some gloves on and did about a 50% water change on his tank.

It's been a few hours, normal behavior, colors still looking good, I don't think I have anything to worry about, do I?
Should I keep applying water changes over the next few days?
I'll be doing a parameter check soon.

Nice way to supplement Iron to your plants...a little unconventional, but let me know how it goes.

That's sort of what I was thinking! I don't know how much got in. But he seems A-Okay.
He's been on far worse conditions before I bought him from "a evil corrupted business chain that shall remain nameless".

A few drops at most.

Well, my finger was on the water, so not really drops. I don't know. I'm sure he's completely unharmed and I'm just over reacting.
