I had to start this one for fellow fish keepers, who have done/said/thought anything so stupid that they laughed at themselves for hours and prayed noone would ever find out. Well... Time to confess!
A couple of months ago I saved 2 molly fry from my main tank. They are now thriving after being moved from breeding trap to a separate fry tank. At about 1 week old they turned bright silver. Just last week they started to develop some tiny black spots all over their bodies. So I panicked thinking they had a disease or something, even though I am doing 50% water change each day I tested the water every 4 hours. Was just about to post in the emergency section on here when it suddenly occured to me that I have only ever kept dalmation mollies in main tank!!
