Ive been away on holiday this week and had someone else feed my fish, they've been going overboard on the blood worms it seems.

My Betta is VERY bloated.... will this go away on its own?

From what ive seen and read it should give it a day, if it doesnt look like hes going down try giving him a peice of a shelled pea. Helps with constipation,

this pea must be cooked first and crushed between your finger tip, i get in constipated bettas and they go into a jar that is just full of dechlorinated water, this gives me the clear sign that they have passed some waste as it is on the base of the jar, which lets me know that they are on the road to recovering, a healthy bettas waste is a orange/brown blob, sorry best way to describe it

just as said above by Daz.

don't feed for a day and see if things improve. i've had a friend drop nearly 40ish pellets in my bettas tank while i was sleeping and he ate all he could. thought he was a goner. 48 hours later he was back to normal.
