Always Watching
From Hudson Wisconsin, we are inthe twin cities metro area. Started last night at around midnight as a winter storm warning. They have extended it and it could easily be a blizzard later to night. Snow is suppose to let up a little and winds are suppose to pick up a lot. Suppose to get really cold. Started snowing lightly at 9:30pm last night and as of noon today we are at 8 inches and we no where near done yet. Currently still getting almost an inch a hour. Its trying to drift here, which is impressive since we are in the wood and pretty sheltered. I have to start shoveling soon. Walked around in it for a little bit. Snow plow did actually come by at noon today, which is alot earlier then I was expecting it too, but in a few more hours it won't make a big difference.
Deck is lying, you can see the wind effect though. So much for my path.
My road shortly after snow plow went by. It is a actually paved road. Dead end though, so low priority. Plows can't remove packed on snow from vehicles driving on it before it is plowed. You can't see the pavement most of the winter.
Snow blowing!
Won't be reading that newspaper, or the other one that met the same fate 5 minuets later.
My car, unfortunately.(again)
This was last weeks snow. Exactly last Saturday. Was a great storm. About half a foot little wind so we get the awesome "winter wonderland" thing going. I love snow when it stick to the trees.
