Hi Guys,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this? I have a shoal of about 7 Emperor Tetras and one of them has what looks like a blister that covers one of his eyes. It doesn't appear to hinder him in any way but I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar and if so is it treatable? I don't have a pic as they are difficult fish to get a good pic of.

Thanks in advance

The eyes of these guys do protrude from the body so injury does happen. Does the whole eye look cloudy at all, or swollen? What looks like a blister could be a simple graze which will repair itself as long as the water is in good clean condition.

The eye itself is visible and still blue in colour and the blister you can see right through to the eye. The eye is not protruding any further than expected I think the blister could be part of the healing process my water stats are good at the moment and the fishes behaviour is normal. It doesn't look like popeye disease from what I have seen so maybe I shall leave him to get on with it?!?

Thanks for the speedy reply
