blind adipose shrimp

I'm looking for one of these to compliment my shrimp goby but cant find any. I could use a pistol shrimp but I would need to periodicaly cut offf the pistol or at least tie it shut which would be cruel.

why would you want to cut the claw off or tie it up?. i have one in my tank and the noise produced is hardly any if thats what your worried about.

Well I'm concerned with it killing inverts. when it fires its pistol it can blow a hole through a snails shell. If I have snails dieing in my tnk I at least want the shells to be intact for hermit crabs.

I have one in my reef with snails and it dosn't go near them. it will only "fire" its pistol if it feels threatened.
