I have 3 black spot barbs. 2 are about 25 - 30mm in length and the third is slightly larger, about 35 - 40mm long. The larger one seems to spend most of his day chasing the other two around the tank - this seems to have intensified over the last couple of days. I haven't noticed any injuries on the other two barbs, but this morning I did find one of my Danios eyeless and being attacked by the other fish in the tank.

Have I got a bully in the tank, and if so, what is the best way to deal with this situation?

Thanks

Andy

Most of the barbs I have had experience with need a school of atleast six to keep themselves occupied. Tiger barbs are the most notorious for fin nipping and chasing but if you keep a bunch together they keep this to themselves and don't involve any of the other types of fish. If it is just one fish, you may try removing it for awhile to see what happens or take it to a lfs and trade for a slightly smaller one.
