Black Skirt Tetra Sick?

I was looking at my fish an I notice a black part on my tetra on the head no other tetras have that so is this a fungus ?? is he sick ?? what is that never seen that before

what can I do for the tetra??

any comments will help thanks

I had a Black Skirt with something similar - but on its lower jaw and right pectoral fin (started as a raised black lump at base of pectoral). It didn't end well for that fish, but it was a few months from the start of the problem to its (enforced) end. That's not to say that your fish has the same thing; in fact all of my Black Skirts have some sort of black marking on their face. When I looked into what my Black Skirt was suffering from I couldn't find any illnesses that matched the symptoms. Maybe I didn't delve deep enough?

So unless anyone else can can be more specific, I would just keep an eye on it. Have you noticed any behaviour changes? Is it suddenly being bullied by other fishes? In my experience that tends to be a sign of illness.
