Black Scales On Severum

my 4.5" Severum seems to have a burn on its side is about .3" big not really that big but the heater does not work and is there for no reason so what could it be? any ideas? this happened one time a while ago as well but it goes away on its own and the severum acts normal with it theres also an oscar and a ghost knife fish + 2-3 baby firemouths my friend gave me he bred a pair 1" each

Don't ammonia burns leave black spots/marks?

yes i think i heard that but my ammonia is completely fine at the moment and yes i know the oscar doesnt fit in a 55 wit all thesefish but he is just 3" at the moment he will start being the real oscar he/she is once it reaches 8"-10" and i do water tests/changes regularly + is over 1.5 year cycled

I know this one it happens to mine from time to time. If he got a scrape or nip this will some times cause it too look a little black is when it is healing. No big deal really unless the scrapes are from rubbing due to parasites of too much fighting. If it's just a random scrape on a rock it's no big deal and will Heal in a day or so.

is healed the severum now btw does any1 know why there are like acouple of VERY VERY VERY tiny holes in the middle of its anal fin?
