Your probably getting tired of seeing me here, arnt ya?

If you didnt already know, I had battled out Callumanus worms about a week ago with Levamisole. One fish didn't make it, my male black sailfin molly (RIP Fat Tony). 3 days after treatment, I didnt just do a water change. I completely steralized everything. I replaced the gravel, boiled all ornaments, scrubed out the filter with an algea scrub. I know this meant re-cycling my tank but the worms drove me nuts, so I didnt want to take another chance of a large infestation. I will be treating again in another week.

Anyways, onto my point. Here is my tank water test results as of last night (10 gallon brackish, 3 mollies 2 swordtails):

Ammonia: .25 ppm (After water change)
NitrIte: 0 ppm
NitrAte: 5.0 ppm
PH: 8.0 ppm

And onto my problem: My male pineapple swordtail has been listless since the treatment. The medication made them all act a little weird, but they snapped out of it and appear to be fine now...with the exception of being bothered by the ammonia due to cycling. He usually just hangs out at the bottom of the tank. No clamped fins, but he gasps for air constantly. I mean he really takes deep quick breaths. Upon further inspection of him I noticed he has developed a black line thing on his lower lip. Something that has never been present before. Almost like he's wearing black lipstick on his lower lip. It has become more noticable. When he does swim, he appears to be disoriented and kind of wobbly. No other markings on his body are present. He does not appear bloated or thin. He also no longer eats - atleast from what iv seen. Even when food floats right infront of him he ignores it. Here's a picture...I tried to take it best I could but it's only my phone and hes camera shy

Any idea of what could be wrong? thanks!

What's your location.
If united states there bio spira you could buy to cycle the tank.
Do you know anyone who could donate you a mature filter sponge.

I'm afraid a cycling tank takes it toll on fish.
Immediate water change and increase aeration.

If you only have mollys in the tank add some salt, it will help with the cycling tank.
For your tank size mix two tablespoons of salt into a bucket of declorinated water.
Stir well till the salt disolves, then add to the tank.

Black patches or smudges can be ammonia burns that are healing.

With having the 1 molly fry. I would only add one tablespoon of salt.
You can't use full dose with fry.
