Hey, i got 2 black phantom tetras about 5 days ago, and i then found out that they should not be kept on their own, or in pairs. So i went down today and got 3 more, so i now have 5, but they are just swimming at the back, i was wondering why they are doing this?
I currently have 5 neon tetras, 5 x-ray tetras, 3 mollies, 2 zebra danios and 5 phantom tetra
I have a 125ltr, 29 gallon tank.
Thanks.

Just give them some time to settle in, they are still new, by the way your tank is pretty much stocked so i'd be careful on what you buy from now on- always thoroughly research your fish as much as posible before getting them, this forum has a pretty good fish index as well.

They take a while to come round to their new environment. I've been keeping them for years and every new additions to the shoal did the exact same and remained just out of sight. As long as they are swimming correctly and they are not showing any signs of disease, then I believe you have nothing to worry about.
Give them a couple of days.
Regards
