I currently have 2 25 gallon tanks that i'm hoping to combine into 1 tank. In 1 tank I have 2 angelfish(Roughly about 4' and 3' respectively), 2 BN Pleco's and 1 Corydora catfish. In the other I have 1 black neon tetra, 4 Corydora Catfish and 2 BN Pleco's. My concern with combining them though is that will the small black neon tetra be able to coexist with the angelfish, or will they simply just pick at him until he dies?
I'm rather concerned about the stocking of the tank(With so many BN Pleco's), but i'll be doing fairly frequent water changes so i'm hoping this won't be much of a problem.

Any help you can give will be appreciated, thanks.

Well angels eat neons in wild so he might become dinner soon, though people have managed to keep them without incident. He'll be stressed at the moment too as he's on his own so If you were going to risk it and not look to rehome, I'd get him some mates to make a group of 8 or so at least then they'd have some safety in numbers so the saying goes.

Will all of the fish you mentioned be placed in one of the 25 gallons or will the tank be bigger? The tank isn't big enough for Angels, so in such a confined area i would imagine the Neon will be put under pressure. Also a 25 gallon tank won't be big enough for 4 BN's, especially if you have more than 1 male. :/

Tank size and space aside, I would think that a fully grown Black Neon would be too big for an Angel to eat. I have 8 adults and they are at least an inch and a half long and quite deep bodied. Black Neons are are a lot bulkier than your average tetra.

I plan on getting a larger tank sometime in the near future when my financial situation will allow it, because I found out that the 25 just isn't gonna be big enough for the angels. As for the BN's, there's 1 fairly large male, and 3 significantly smaller females.

Been keeping neon tetras with angelfish for along time myself mate.If you keep enough to make a shoal and if you put them together while the angels are still young there shouldn't be any problem. My tetras coexist with my angels with no problem. And the black neon tetras are indeed a bit bigger than the normal neon tetra.
