Black Molly Again

How long? Well, they can be 4-6" when full grown, if that's what you are asking. If you aren't asking that...can you specify more?

ah, but now i'm running into a bigger problem! when i bought my female silver molly, along with my black, she looked pregnet, but after the first few days she was in the big tank, she didn't, but all of a sudden, she seems fat again, and she is pooing really stringy white poo. i think she might be pregnet too! i think i just might go for survival of the fitest for the baby mollies!

Stringy white poo os a sign of internal bacteria and cause fish to lose weight even if they are eating fine, you will need to medicate them for it otherwise it could kill your mollys.

i thought long stringy poo ment birth, but it went away, just an hour ago, but she still seems fat.

White poo is internal parasites. How can you be sure it went away? Parasites rarely, if ever, go away without treatment. I would treat as soon as possible, because if this fish dies, the parasites will move onto another, and multiply. Your whole tank could die off. :/

well, now i'm not even sure it's even poo. cause all i remember is watching her swim really fast than seeing white.

Well, you need to keep an eye on her, and make sure, because don't want an internal parasite infested tank, I can tell you that. You need to be sure if she has them or not. And what are the water params? :)

all i can say eveything is normal. pH is like 7.3, but my test kit sux, all it shows you is the color that everything should be close to.

read teh bold

Your test kit for everything? You'll probably want to get another one then, because you'll need to know exact params if you ever need another tank, or if you have a sick fish or something...for example, just a trace of ammonia can be deadly to some fish. :/

ya, i'm planning on going to my lfs today anyway, i like tuesdays, they get their shipment of ghost shrimp, and they are usually gone by thursday.

off topic: i am very dissipointed in my mom's freind's daughter. i let her borrow my copy of harry potter and the prizinor of azakaban, and now, i have to get a new one, she completely ruined the cover, bunches of words are smudged, and the last few chapters must of gotten wet cause they are all crimpled! i am soo mad right now, even though i did fish the newest book on sunday.

*bump* what type of fish kit should i get, any specific brand? obviously for a fresh water aquarium
