I would go in with a bacterial med for now and see how it goes.

OK, tried to get a better picture. It's the light colored area in the middle of the fishes head.

OK, now the adult female black molly has a white belly. It looks almost like the scales are missing or something. She (and the fry as well) are acting perfectly normal. They are eating fine, swimming fine. No flashing or rubbbing against stuff. Just the white streak on their bellies.

Finally got a half decent picture of it.

Have you added the med yet.
If there not flicking dosn't sound like a parasite at the moment.
Have you added the maracyn one and two.

Well, three days into the treatment and they all still have silver/white bellies. Absolutely no change yet. The fish are all acting quite normal. The fry that had the white spot on his head no longer has that spot, but his belly is still white/silver.

The directions said to treat for 5 days. Have 2 more treatments - tonight and tomorrow. Guess I will have to wait and see if there is any improvement by then.

Try another five days if no improvement move onto a parasite med, could be both.

Well, I'm getting no where with this. Every time I treat the tank for one thing, something else starts up. The white/silver belly is still there, but now my adult female has a little white sore on her lip.

I give up!!!!!!

I know the tank is overcrowded now that the babies are over an inch long each, and there are 10 babies, plus the adult and 4 cory cats. I need to get some of the fish out of there, but I can't move them because I'm treating them for disease. It seems like I'm stuck in an endless circle. I have no spare tanks that I can move some of them out and into. All I have is my main 20 gal tank, and the 10 gal that these guys are in.

White patches on the lip is mouth fungus columnaris.
What are your stats.
If a tank is overstocked that won't be helping the healing process.
You might need to use a parasite med if the silver bellies haven't cleared up.
