Hello all, this is my first post. I have recently introduced a Black Ghost Knife Fish to my tank and was wondering whether it's behaviour is normal: It lays on the gravel on it's side quite alot. Occasionally moving to another spot. Is this normal or is there something wrong? The PH is fine the temp is in the right range. I've been feeding it blodworms (I'm assuming it ate some before everything else got at them!) Please give me your input.

Temperament: Timid, nocturnal. Very peaceful unless provoked. Ghost Knifes have a weak electric organ and will hunt out other fish if tormented. Should not be kept with tail biting fish, they will soon be eaten
Expect to see your ghost knife hiding and laying on its side during the day. They only come out in the dark or when it's time to eat. Only one ghost knife should be kept per tank. They will fight each other.
