Black Fuzzy Dots On Driftwood

Hi

Today i have noticed some black fuzzy dots on my driftwood, it has been in the tank around 2 months and was soaked for a month prior to that

Tank is at 0 ammonia and nitrites and 20 for nitrate. P.H is at 8.2, water is changed 2 - 3 times a week, and 60 - 120 litres are changed per week (240l tank)

Most of the plants are fake. There is a java fern in there and elodea. Both these are growing, but there are black bits on the java fern.

The tank has just got through the brown algae stage, it covered everything, but disappered just over a week ago.

Apart from adding the java fern, nothing else has changed to the tank recently
