Black Dragon Half Moon At Lps

Hey guys a few days ago I visited my LPS and they had a male Black dragon half moon. I considered buying it but the $25.99 price tag was a turn off at it's current size. Do you guys think I should invest in getting it or would it be smarter to purchase a full Blue dragon plakat for half the price. Stuck between a rock and a hard place right now, cant figure which is more worth while to invest in. Let me know what you guys think.

I personally like half moon more but I wouldnt pay that much for a betta unless the shop really personalize in them. Ive bought betta at 30 dollars before but like I said it was from an all betta shop

i wouldnt pay that much for a betta unless it came from a breeder and i knew the parent lines. That is STEEEP!

IMO that's to much to pay when you can even go on aqua bid and get one for that price you could get this for the price you would pay

I have a blue crowntail in a 10gallon tank right now. He is gorgeous....he has black spots on the strings of his tail. Definatly a rare find at patsmart lol

He's a big boy, quite possibly the largest betta I have seen. I would feel bad putting him in a 5 gallon because he is so large.

How big is he? my biggest is probably only 2.25 inches long from mouth to end of tail he is a blue veil tail male that I got from walmart

his body is about 3inches. then his fins are huge!

Apologize for the delayed response, a day after I saw the betta someone else purchased it. Either way I agree that $25 is way to steep. I ended up today finding two juvenile black orchid half moons though at another LFS which Iam fimilar with the owner so he gave me a deal on the two. I got them for a great deal of $12 for both. I'll have pics posted soon.

Oh dear I paid $40 for an A grade blue hm dragon and $15 for blue hm female dragon......thats the going price for an exotic where I live as these types of bettas are as rare as dinosaur eggs. Although it was a lot of money I feel it was well invested because I now have over 100 fry from breeding the two.

WOW! $40 thats insane. Here in Toronto male Blue Mask halfmoon plakat bettas go for $10-$20. Female of any species go usaully go for $5-$8.
