Just been watching my 2 males in their 25L divided tank, something was puzzling me........ then i realised...... some how they have switched sides I honestly cant see how this has happened as its as secure as it can possibly be.

thats really weird? Are you sure? Maybe they went under the divider. My fish did that once. Then again I have cheap clear dividers

in the second pic it looks like the top of your divider is at the water level? if thats true thats probably how since bettas do jump!

You have a point. But why would they both jump into the others tank? It does not make sense to me. But thats just me

Maybe one jumped in to the other one's then that one got scared and jumped over

The divider runs right upto the lid so it touches and the water level sits just below. Its a complete mystery to me If there ws a small hole in the divider then i could understand if one got into the others but for both of them to switch sides......... well only the Bettas know whats happened and im more than likely not to find out!!!

Well that's pretty weird heh
Look over it all very carefully though. They'll squeeze through the smallest spots that you wouldn't think they could get through.
It also might be a good idea to lower the water lvl just in case they did in fact somehow jump over the divider.

They look fantastic though and their tank is gorgeous

Okay so I know this is off topic....BUT I LOVE YOUR TANK SETUP! It's so cool.

Now back on topic that is odd how they both switched sides, are you sure you didn't turn the tank around the wrong way or something?

Have you ever seen that episode of scrubs where Dorion is riding his scooter through puddles and he goes for a really big one and disappears in it. Then he pops out of another one several feet down, and says " Where was I?!" Maybe that happened.
