Bizarre

Yikes - I've seen column tanks, but that's just BIZARRE :S
I wouldn't want it - even if it was given to me for free. Apart from being entirely unpractical, it's downright ugly as sin :X (in my humble opinion of course ;) )

Thats kinda cool, wonder how much gallons of water it takes?

He claims he paid 3500 for it new as well.

Sounds like the kind of person I'd like to sell things to.

I also wonder how many gallons it is and how the hell can you filter it with that bizzarr shape.

Smash one of the sides with a heavy instrument.

You forgot the other 2 key factors before the water change

1. Make sure mum is out

2. Run!

I bet you have to put an oxygen tank on like the one suba divers use to dive to the bottom to vacum clean with an extra long hose. :p

It says the columns are 16" x 6' tall. It looks like a hexagonal column so I would guess about 50 gallon for each column. Arch doesn't look too big. Looks to be about 8" deep and maybe 8" tall on average times 8' long. That would be about 27 gallon. Those are just guesses though. Since it's a hexagon, I don't know if the 16" is from corner to corner or side to side. That would make a pretty big difference, changing the column to almost 70 gallons. That would make it a total of somewhere between about 120 gallon up to 175 gallon. Now all this is assuming I did the maths correctly but I think I did.

Having said all that, why would anyone want something like that???? I don't even think it's pretty but I guess it would be a great conversation piece. I'm sure the black part at the top opens up to do water changes and to clean it. You'd have to have some type of vacuum with a handle on it to get to the bottom. With that as a part of your house, you would have to have a great cleaning schedule. Wouldn't look very good with algae all over everything.

I don't like it; it is too retarted when you really think about it!!!You would need a mechine to do the water changes. I think you should stick with the normal shapes dude it is easier!
