I have a fish r fun hexagonal tank which has an already fitted filter (if anyone uses or used a FRF hex tank for a birthing tank did the filter suck up fry?
or should i use an airstone instead?

Thanks :) going to lfs 2day so need answers fast ;)

I personally, wouldnt take the risk.

You could easily enough make a DIY filter. There is a sticky on the forum. :good:

Best filter for a birthing tank that i have found is a sponge filter because if any food gets stuck to the sponges the fry will pick them off. They don't get sucked up and the current of the water is not to fast. Hope this helps. :)
