Biorb begginer!!

hey every1, i was wondering if ne1 has ne gd ideas as 2 wot 2 put in biorbs,. ive been at it 2 weeks n i hav 3 black neons, n i should b able 2 get sum more fish by the end of this month

How big do black neons get?

My lfs has a bi-orb set up, but only recomends neons and minnows for them. Even the biggest bi-orb

they get 2 bout 4.5cm (i boff up on books a lot lol)

Then they are proberbly enuogh for that bi-orb.
But I am no expert, I dare say some else with more knowlage will
confirm or deny this.

Hi,

I've had a biorb for 6 months now, they look great don't they. Only problem is you run out of room pretty quick(I'm now thinking of buying tank no.4).

In mine I have 10 neons 6 various other small tetras and a betta. They all are doing fine. I did only have 4 neons but I put 12 in my larger tank and something started eating them so I put the remaining 6 in the biorb.

I think the biorb has a 3 or 5 stage filter or something so it filters really well.

If you still have your instructions it tells you how many fish you can put in, I think it says about 20 danios or small tetras.

only bad thing bout em is tht u cant put bottom feeders in because of the sharp ceramic media at the bottom
