More than welcome...you'll have to bag them yourself, I use those nylon mesh bags you can get from the supermarket, with fresh fruits or other items in them...seal at both ends with zip tiesThank you very much.

Hi,just leave the sponges in the filter, they last longer and don't need replacing
This might be controversial amongst some Forum members, but what the heck...
Have a look at the Microbe-Lift bacterial products.
I'll assume your tank already has a worthy population of beneficial bacteria and, in setting up and maintaining my own tank, I appear to have had some success with both Microbe-Lift Special Blend and Nite-Out II. (Other bacterial products are out there, but I can't comment on the efficacy of these, as I haven't used them, nor conducted scientifically valid trials).
I'm also not saying that you need to seed your filter, especially if you already have beneficial bacteria in place, but it won't harm to give your filter a boost.
Dirty, or 'mature', media might be a nice gift...as long as it is totally free from diseases and parasites.Hi,
Just in process of setting up the tank, so just shopping at the moment. My LFS has said they will give me some dirty filter media (nice !).
Hopefully this time next week I will be able to fill the tank and start the silent plant cycle.
