Bio Medium For Magnum Hot

I have a Magum HOT, and I'm looking to fill the chamber with a bio media. A lot of what I have looked at seems to large to get enough in the filter. What are others using? Does anyone have any experience with the mini Nano balls?

doesnt the magnum come with a bio wheel pro 30/60?

Yes, they can be bought that way, but mine is an older one. I probbaly could retro fit it, but I was looking for something cheaper.

id reccomend buying the bio wheel pro 60, its like 30 bucks but if you dont want to do that get a nylon media bag and fill it with lava rock, its 4 bucks for a 50 pound bag! the lava rock wont affect pH or anything and its very porus, its perfect for bacteria colonization
