ok i know u guys hate breeders but, shes in there now. she's been prego since iv boght her about a month ago, i thoght she was gunn burst then but now she looks like a baloon molly. i think shes gunna have now because she is hideing in the weeds and from the male. my fry im afraid r still not big enogh to let go so iv moved them to a goldfish bowl with more room where i hope they will grow quicker. big mama is a lil stressed from bein in the breeder but im not gunna leave her in there any long than 12 hours, if she hasn'y droped by then im gunna release her. do u think a lil salt will releive her stress? i havn't got any stress meds but i will get sum tomarrow.

breeders are not all bad but like you mentioned they can stress out the momma. A small bit of salt may help or even some stress coat. Good luck to you and momma.

thanx tst i did add salt but i have no stress meds. iv gotta get sum.

i haven't been on lately because the site has been down i think, i released her after the night cause she didn't have any, but no sooner did put her in did she drop. so i put her in the breeder where she had no more. i totally uprooted my live plants and pissed off my pleco and i think i go them all. she had like 20-30 and now their all safe, i dont think any were eaten but after putting them in my fry tank wit my old fry i lost 3 due to defects, which aint bad.

after i put my tank together i re released the female and put the male in the breeder so she could rest. i released him after a couple hours and the next days she was preggers again lol hopefully ill do better wit my fry this time, i screwed up bad on the last batch, i went from 40 fry to 7 ( which i still have )

lol I went from 64 down to 59 lol and don't know if I'll lose any more or not.

I know what you mean about the site being down I couldn't get on for 3 days
Be careful with these babies lol and remember to change their water more lol



Did you ever get pics of your male and female Gups so I could see them lol

lol yea iv got the pics but it wouldn't let me upload em at photo bucket, ill try again tonight. the pics i have suck so i think im gunna try ur stratagey and catch em in a net

lol may take a few times to get the pic to come out right lol its a good way to get pics .... photo bucket fixed the website you should be able to get pics on there now
