I have been looking online for the problem but, im not 100% sure of what the problem is. He had a wound on the left side of his head, but that seems to be doing better(healing) on his right side, not in his guill, but on top of it he has some sort of rash/wound. I'm not sure what it is so I can't really treat it. Can anyone help me?

Thanx

Posting a pic would help to determine if it's an injury or a disease situation. If it's an injury, melafix & water changes should heal it right up.

Any danger for anything else in my tank? Shrimp, Brittle, hermit, snails, tang, buttefly, blennie with the melafix?

I don't think it's an injury. It's more like a rash/parts going bad. I'm trying to take a pix, but the little fish always hide and it is super fast.

No danger with melafix for most inverts, especially at 1/2 dose. REALLY sensetive corals might not tolerate it, but I dont think you have any of those.

Yeah I have no coral. That stuff smells like Vick's :)

Anyway I did do a 25% water change and as indicated on the bottle I removed the Coal filtering part of my filters. I did do a full dose...I didn't listen again. this morning everyone was eating happily. I will go with half dose tonight and so on for the next 5 days. It already seems to be better this morning. It seemed like it healed a little and looked less inflamed.

Thanx for the help....while I was at the store I also bought some stuff for the ICH. I will get it.....it's just a matter of time.

I just got home from work. The Angel looks worst than this morning. I put in the melafix...we will see how it goes. I don't believe he ate anything tonight. I'm gonna use some brine shrimp with garlic to see if he will eat a little.

Yikes, hope he didnt get a secondary infection :/. Keep a close eye on him and be prepared if you need to quarantine :(

He his not doing so well. He is not eating and he is kinda hiding where he usually hide. I don't have much to quarantine.... will a bucket do?

I'm gonna go downstairs to find the spare part I got from the FW tank my buddy gave me.

What do I do with him in the quarantine if I do put him in there?

I don't think he is going to make it the night and I am helpless.....:(

Mix up some prper sg saltwater, add a heater and a small powerhead, and dose the QT tank with a copper based ich medication. Big rubbermaid tubs can be your friend here. Good luck man

done!!! but I think it might be too late. He was at the bottom of the tank. He is still breathing...but:(

He didn't make it overnight... :( When I looked at him before throwing it out he had lost almost all of his colors on his body..... I'm still wondering what he had. I feel so helpless
