Hi All,

I have a Bleeding Heart Tetra with a fungus on its body and fins. I have treated with Esha 2000 as per my LFS recomendation. The fungus is very persistant though. While I am treating, it does seem to clear, but the moment I stop, it comes back. I have tried upping the dose a bit. And have also extended the treatment by an extra 2 days, but nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

Water stats are:
Ph 7.8
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20

Thanks

Hi All,

No one have any idea????

I have been treating with various Esha products & tried the Interpet products.
While treating, the fungus clears, but the minute I stop, it comes back. The cycle of this has been going on for weeks now.
Ony 1 fish affected. Fortunately the disease hasn't spread to any of my other fish.

Any ideas of how to clear it up completely?

Thanks
Squidward

Have you tried adding aquarium salt after you have treated, just make sure you have no fish(e.g cories) that don't like salt.

Keith.
