Bored into leaving
I must admit a number of people (myself included) keep 2+ BGKs in a tank. My two had some issues deciding who sleeps where, but now are happy as pie together and sleep within eyeshot.
Blueice is another member who has often kept more than one together, again without major incident (as far as I am aware).
And for reference, mine are only in a 6x2x2, not exactly a massive tank by any means.
Prankster, what you said about the electrical field is just not true. The field they use is not that great, it is only for location, and even then for nearby location. It's not like they are sending out pulses all around the tank to see what's where.
The not more than 1 electrical fish thing seems to come almost entirely from people who have never tried it. There are some who have had problems, but I have read of far more success than failure with BGK, so long as the tank has enough places for them to get away from each other initially it's fine.
