Bettas

I am planning on getting some, a male and a female, but the real reason i am posting is because i hate it how the pet store put them in such small containers! They arent even tanks! I mean seriously, its like living in a box. I think they should start a betta rescue center or something. Its unfair to the bettas. The should be sold in pairs, each in like 1 gallon containers. I hate it!

If you paid them double I'm sure they'd be happy to sell them that way.

bettas can be sold in pairs. If its two males, they'll fight. If it's a male and a female, the male will kill the female unless they are breeding, and they can't be breeding 24/7

the conditions you see bettas in might ook cruel compared to other fish, but it does work becuase they are hardy fish and can breathe on the surface.
