Bettas With No Heaters

Hi just wondering that people in the us and some in the uk dont have heaters on there tanks.Wouldnt the temp fluctuate much? like between night and day nd if you have a cold day followed by a hot day.What minimum temp does your tank get to?

I don't like not having a heater but, in Connecticut anyway, we have an A/C unit set for about 76. And it hasn't been getting much cooler than that at night, unfortunately. So, I could probably go without a heater at all, but I have this thing about knowing that the temp is constant, even though I'm sure it's not in the wild.

i keep my betta with heaters at about 26-28.In my fish house one setup i will keep them at about 24-25.I think i wont need to spae heat in the fh because ill have all the tanks on heaters and the room will be warm enough to have a ouple of 2g tanks w/o heaters.
