I've had two bettas for a day and they're each in their own 2 gallon bowls. All is okay, temp, clarity of water, and they even have places to hide. The nitrite and ammonia are fine too, 0.2 and 0. But, they are not eating. I've tried a variety of foods and feeding methods (sinking food, floating). I fed them twice with no luck (one bite of a tiny flake, then it got spit out, that's it). I got them both free at a show so could it be some anti-stress med that loses their appetite (dout it though)? What do you think?

When I first got my Betta he didn't eat for 3 days and I became really concerned. I ended up joining this forum and found that apparently it's perfectly normal for them not to eat straight away. On the 4th day my Betta started eating and he was fine after that. Give them a couple more days and hopefully they'll start munching away!
