ok not me, not me, not me...thought id get that point across, but my sister has her betta tanks set up as such
two ten gallon tanks with a divider in each, seperating each into a 5 gallon.
the four seperate places each house 1 male betta and two girls, except for the 4th area houses 1 male and 3 girls.
there was the occasional bickering to begin with but everyone now seems to get along quite lovely, except for the 4th tank, two of the females hate each other and everyone else and womp on each other and the other female plus the male....the beat up female and male hide together in the one cave all the time...its kinda cute.
my sister has the tanks super super busy....plants and hiding spaces galore, enough that no one can make a standoff and fight, and plenty of places so if somebody is getting beat up they can hide.
my sister thinks if the 4th tank does not settle down that they are getting seperated.
getting more into fish myself I am wondering if anyone else ever has this arrangement done..and if so does it work out long term? the first three 5 gallon spaces really seem to enjoy each other company, and 4 just has bickering fish.
I am hopeing she just wont get up one day and everybodys dead.
